Episode 3: On what basis is elite sports fair?
This third episode concerns scientific and legal arguments about fairness on the field of elite athletics. Alun Williams and Benjamin Moron-Peuch spoke at a PSI-I monthly research event on May 8th 2025 on the possible bases for excluding women with VSC from elite sports, and came together again to record this podcast on September 22nd, 2025. In this podcast these experts discuss the biological science linking sex development to sporting performance, the importance of that science to the legality of including and excluding women with VSC from elite sports, and the psychosocial consequences of sex testing in sports.
